Our first taste of nature in Taipei, the past few days have been nothing but moving around in the city but this time we are going to the famous Yang Ming Shan. Headed to Taipei Main Station and went inside it to see how it actually looked like. A mini airport I would say.
The threat of missing the breakfast time slot always lingers on my mind every single day. Thinking to myself, there is bound to be a day we would finally miss breakfast. This was the day it finally happens. We had to settle for breakfast at Xi Men Ding, hopped onto one of a random shops to have dumplings.
Nearly missed breakfast today, fortunately we made it for the very last serving and ate our fill. Bought a single journey pass, for a moment we thought we would be getting a card just like in Singapore but that was not the case.
A taste of TS Hotel’s breakfast (Western + Chinese cuisine). It is really filling and heart warming, nothing too exceptional and nothing too poor, it was decent.
Headed to Xi Men METRO station to get a 1 day Taipei Pass, gives us discounts for so many selected locations.
Finally the day arrived (30th May 2007), we are setting off to Taiwan. I have been looking forward to this, to take a break away from work, from everything else to go and relax.
Yu Zhao’s father sent us off at the airport and Darrell was there to see us go, really appreciate it dude. It is really a very nice feeling to be standing inside Changi Airport after such a long time.
