Remember the Ping.sg 2nd anniversary party? Think Plurk SG this time round. We gathered at Ice Cold B’s, located within SMU’s Lee Kong Chian School of Business. It wasn’t so much of a dinner but rather some beer drinking.
After being alerted that finger food would be our closest call to filling our stomaches at Ice Cold B’s, we decided to grab a bite at Burger King before heading down.

Having not ever played with a Wii set, I was particularly looking forward to it. Sadly it was only to be taken out on Thursday and Saturdays.
For self entertainment, we started playing some games and they were really fun though on most occasions, I was on the end of a forfeit (drinking up); blame it on the lag in my head. I am a total greenhorn at beer, and not a regular drinker too. A couple of sips and my face turns red but I was perfectly sober.
There was this particular game titled ‘Bottles’ in which we had to repeat the numbers in an ascending sequence. In the cases where it was a multiple of or an occurrence of 7, we would say out ‘bottles’ instead of the number. And for some reason, I always seem to think 24 is a multiple of 7. Don’t ask me why.
Willy was in a frenzy, all guns blazing with his Nikon D3, mercilessly snapping at every opportunity. However I really liked how this picture turned out. It is officially my latest Facebook profile picture.

If you are wondering why my eyes are so small in this picture, its because I tend to have a reaction to flash photography. Seconds before a flash is fired, I would probably be on the verge of closing my eyes. That’s why you are more likely to get a better picture when I am not focusing on the lens. At least, you could spot my pupils.
There were other candid photos being shot too, thankfully it wasn’t posted up. It would be embarrassing to see pictures of my rear, now would it?

Could you imagine more than 4 hours were spent at Ice Cold B’s? That was a blast. I can’t recall ever spending that long just chilling and having a whole loads of fun at a bar. I really enjoyed myself, and I am sure every single attendee did too. I am already looking forward to the next Plurk outing and my ‘Bottles’ rematch with Hui Shan.

I suppose Willy has already made it public and you already seen it! Here’s hoping no more funny poses pops up.
