Haircut at Monsoon Hair House

It has been quite a while since my last haircut, so I decided to get one. My intention was to head down to Jean Yip but what do you know? There isn’t a branch at Novena, and I was forced to look at other alternatives. After getting a brief idea of the salon’s locations, I went to check them out.

There was this salon which caught my eye with their exterior; Monsoon. Their prices were rather affordable too, ranging from SGD $25 to as high as SGD $165 for wash + cut + blow (men) services depending on the professional level of the hair stylist you want, so why not?

Due to the lack of hair stylists to cater to such a high volume of customers, I was probably left there waiting till I eventually dozed off, even if it was for a few minutes.

For too long now, I did not really bothered about my appearance, its time to make a change and actually start caring about how I look. High time the sloppy and slack Darran goes away.

The hair stylist asked me how do I want my hair cut, I told her to give me a refreshing hairstyle:
“給我一個新鮮的髮型吧”

I was basically leaving my new hairstyle to her recommendation.

After my latest haircut

I am satisfied with it. SGD $25 well spent! In any case, the picture doesn’t really showcase my new hairstyle in detail, it just looks like your average hair cut.
