I went to the IT show at the Suntec Convention Center intending to get myself a 3.5″ 500GB external hard disk, a card reader and a USB hub but at the end of the day I left not only empty handed but also frustrated.

This was my first time ever attending an IT show. Past recollections from my friends had prepared me mentally for what I could expect from the huge crowd. But what I didn’t expect was the surfacing of the ugly rears of Singaporeans and I got to experience it first hand. I was appalled to say the very least.

Constant shoving, pushing and flirting with babes was the norm, why not add more to the list? Tripping and kicking, only to round it off with a smirk. Not a single “sorry” or a morsel of feeling apologetic. All this coming from a mother and child. Can you comprehend what had just transpired?

I do not know what they had hoped to achieve by doing all that. Couldn’t they just make their way without actually getting downright despicable and proceed in a civilized manner? It is not as though they were deprived of food for 3 whole months that they have to resort to putting another person down for their own survival.

I am struggling to find a way to distinguish them from those without upbringing. It may be a harsh remark but that is how inconsiderate they are. Anyone mind lending a hand?

Is a mere simple “sorry” that difficult to come out from their mouth? Are they that superior compared to others that they don’t feel a need to account for what they have done?

If I had accidentally bumped into anyone, I would apologize without any delay.

Putting all that aside, there were really some attractive offers up for grabs at the IT fair, such as a 3.5″ 500GB Western Digital hard disk going for less than $200. However it is a real pity that my mood for comparing prices was pretty much torn apart because of some inconsiderate mothers.

This would probably be the first and last time I am ever going to an IT fair, I would much rather pay the market price than to experience the ugly rears of Singaporeans. I can easily get what I am looking for in Sim Lim Square, without feeling pissed at the end of everything.
