I have moved into paid hosting with ComputingHost and got myself my very first domain; limetouch.com. So be sure to bookmark it in your favorites.

Paid about SGD $25 for a year’s worth of hosting. It is nothing too huge, just something which I feel is within my blog’s limits. A brief overview of my hosting plan:

  • 100 MB disk space
  • 2 GB monthly bandwidth
  • Unlimited FTP accounts and SQL databases
  • Maintain Uptime: 99.9%

The signing up process was very efficient and quick. ComputingHost has a live 24/7 chat support, and it is there I get the operators to clarify what I intend to do and their advice has been extremely useful. 2 hours after paying the fees, everything was ready.

I didn’t have to wait for 48 hours before the name servers was pointed to the domain (well that was what a forum I was in encountered) , instantly everything from my Trap17 account was transferred to my ComputingHost account.

What attracted me into going for ComputingHost as my preferred paid host after spending 8 months with Trap17 was simply the uptime. Whilst with Trap17, I have never seen the servers for ComputingHost go down once. The reviews by all the users who were using Trap17 and subsequently moving to ComputingHost convinced me. Not a single complaint about their service.

On the contrary, I have heard a whole lot of good reviews about them.

Of course, right now I will have 1st hand experience on their service. Hopefully there won’t be any problems with them.
