My blog redirection
This is my first time participating in a Lorelle On WordPress Weekly Blog Challenge. For all those who are new to Lorelle’s Weekly Blog Challenge, click here to find out more.
I welcome all bloggers to join me on this week’s challenge, it should be quite fun. I would love to know the directional history behind your blog. If you do take up this challenge, be sure to make a trackback to both this and Lorelle’s post so that we can all have a read.
This week’s challenge:
Blog about the path your blog took to get to now
When I first started out, I did not have any hopes of it being a blog visited by many everyday. My sole intention was to have a place on the web where I can rant and let people around me get a glimpse on my thoughts. As time passed, so did my direction and perception of blogging.
It was not until May this year when I got my own paid hosting with Computing Host that I started to have a change in direction with regards to my blog. It was no longer much of a personal blog where I ranted whatever and whenever I wanted but rather 1 which I hope can benefit others in multiple fields. I was taking into consideration my potential audience.
Whatever I write here in my blog, I hope those who are reading it will exit my blog knowing something new or maybe even made to think by what I have written. If you are thinking about what I have written, then I consider my entry a huge success. Why not let’s throw in a way to know the author better as a person? Whether you know me face to face or not, sometimes the way I write will tell you 1 or 2 hidden personal traits, I will leave you to uncover that!
This is the direction of my blog I intend to take, one which has utmost seriousness and consideration but at the same time not forgetting why I started to blog in the first place, and that is for my passion to carve out the feelings going through me in words!
Well done! Isn’t it amazing how our blog changes as we change and our surroundings change. The moment you started “paying” for your blog, it’s value in content increased. Wonderful.
Thanks for participating and why not try a few more challenges?
Hi Lorelle,
I am a big reader of your blog, it never fails to astound me with the amount of tips which could actually help improve me as a blogger, it provides a casual yet relaxing read.
Our blogs we write are in a very similar way identical to kids, as time passes they mature, moulding into the way we want them to be. And so that was the case! It is more than an address or space we have on the web, it is something related to us. The wonders of blogging.
I hope to continue writing content on a regular basis which will have many people benefiting from it.
I am definitely onto more challenges as they uncover themselves weekly fresh on your blog.
