I have decided to release my latest minimalist WordPress theme as a stable one. Up till now, it has been stuck at 0.7b as there were a couple of features missing as well as some yet to be fixed lingering bugs.
MiniMoo’s the name
MiniMoo is a 2 column extremely light weight minimalist theme heavily based on MooTools framework 1.2.
Using almost no images, it is meant to provide zero distractions and focuses fully on the user’s content. And as always it is valid XHTML Strict 1.0.
Features
- Clean
- Excerpts in posts
- AJAX commenting and page navigation
- Widget and Gravatar enabled
- Comment threading and paging

Very good template, but not compatible with IE6, IE7. .
Please Modify, thank you!
In what way is it not compatible with IE6 or IE7, I tested it on both platforms and they were working fine.
This is such a great theme. Take a look at my blog. I have customized it a little bit.
nice template.. but images don’t work with it…
cant display any images at all… bad bad
Images can work on it.
Here’s an example:

I do think however, you are referring to images not showing up in the excerpt. To show them, you have to insert the HTML code in the excerpt field.
Can you expand on what “insert the HTML code in the excerpt field” means?
There is an excerpt box underneath your Write Post box, you have to insert the HTML code there. For e.g., if you want to show an image, you have to put the image code into the excerpt box.
Plugin WP Page Numbers is not working properly with this theme. Link for page numbers are coming vertically like below
1
2
3
Could you please help
I did a test with the plugin loaded on a demo site running WordPress 2.8 and it was working fine. I was using the default settings. Whatever code inside the <div id=”page-navi”> should be commented out and you should be seeing only this line within it:
<?php if(function_exists('wp_page_numbers')) { wp_page_numbers(); } ?>.Could you perhaps show me a working link together with your WordPress version as well as any working plugins you have running and I can drill down your problem to its bones?
