limetouch.com is one year old
It was exactly a year ago when limetouch.com was created. My then blog was hosted on Trap17, it was the perfect place to get started. All the paid hosting services you could get at absolutely no cost. However the requirement was that you actively participated in their forums.
The number of days your account stays active depends on credits. Credits can be earned by posting in the forums. The longer you write, the more number of credits you will earn. Copy and pasting won’t get you more credits either, a script actually determines whether it is a genuine input or not. As time passed, it was getting tiring. I had to post in order to keep my account active. I did not want a hosting plan with strings attached. And so after 8 months of being hosted with Trap17, I decided to move into paid hosting.
The gruelling question was: “Which web host to choose?”
At that time, I was very new to the market, I didn’t know which web host was reliable. I have seen many examples of web hosts holding the website for ransom and I certainly did not want to be stuck in such a situation. And so I decide to take the most conservative of approaches.
I registered with ComputingHost for a year and recently renewed my hosting plan and domain name for another year. Computinghost is the partner of Trap17 and are within the Xisto network. I chose ComputingHost because of the professional support services I had with Trap17 and that really shined on me, I wanted to continue within the Xisto network.
