Blog Action Day 2008: Poverty
October 15 is declared as Blog Action Day. This is a special and significant annual event where the entire blogging community will unite and discuss about a specific global issue. Last year, the pressing topic was on our fast dying environment.
If statistics are anything to go by, a total of 20,603 blogs participated and 23,327 posts were published. I did participate but due to an avoidable mistake on my part, the post was accidentally deleted and is no longer listed in my archives.
This year in the 2nd anniversary of Blog Action Day, we will be touching on a topic which is a widespread problem around the world; poverty.
In the midst of our busy schedules and focuses, let’s all take this one day to think about how we can combat this problem and make life more of a bliss than torture for the lesser fortunate ones.
