ComputingHost review
After 6 months of being hosted by ComputingHost, I think it is time to deliver a full scale review of this low-cost web host.
Just to let you in on my current hosting plan, I am currently using the Linux budget plan B and being hosted on the Kappa server with a disk space of 100MB and a monthly bandwidth of 2GB.
All this available for just USD 14.95/year.
Within less than 2 hours since I completed payments, I was able to get everything setup, including my domain and I was able to access my site immediately. Everything from my previous Trap17 hosting was transferred to this new account without much hassle or problems.
My trip with ComputingHost was a bumpy one in the early goings. There were constant outbursts of downtime not lasting longer than 5 minutes, but it was frustrating nonetheless. Everything got sorted out when I talked to the ever patient and attentive staff through the Live Support - a service enabling you to speak to a customer support officer 24/7.
The outbursts of downtime only occurred in the 1st few weeks of being hosted. Ever since then, I would say my site has suffered 0% downtime. ComputingHost promised 99.9% uptime, those constant outbursts of downtime were that 0.1%. So I would say they have duly delivered what they promised. How many companies do that nowadays?
There was an occasion whereby I accidentally deleted the core folders in my hosted directory. There came ComputingHost to the rescue. Though they had no way of restoring the files I have stupidly deleted, they returned my folders to their factory state. In other words, the directory was as it was when a new account is created.
Fortunately, what was gone were simply the WordPress installation folders and nothing more. The damage was minimal.
I can’t really find any faults with ComputingHost, they have delivered what they promised (99.9% uptime) and always maintained a high level of professionalism throughout. In all my dealings with them, they have always assisted me in the best way they can in a very polite manner. On top of that, they constantly upgrade their servers to make them even faster and more efficient for us customers.
If you are on a tight budget and want a good and reliable web host, why not consider ComputingHost?

Bad points of a company are quickly remarked and very few people take the effort to write good about others. I thank you for the effort you took to write it and we promise you quality service for the years to come
