I am not the most popular guy around, and I don’t have a huge group of friends. But what I do have are two very close and trusted ones who without fail every year celebrate my birthday.

It has been so long since I have met both my 2 best buddies at the same time. My belated birthday celebration was the perfect occasion for a small gathering at Sakura.

It has been 2 years since my last visit to the restaurant. Back then, I was carrying a slight fever, and as a result I wasn’t really able to savor the buffet delights.

This time I was able to, and the food passes off as just average for my liking, but that is what you are going to be expecting in buffets, huge quantity of average quality. There isn’t any item which truly deserves a special mention. It goes down to stuffing your stomach with food till it reaches its limit.

Nonetheless, a big thank you to both Terence and Darrell for treating me to a meal. It was nice just catching up on the current goings and also looking back at probably the most exciting times of our lives - in secondary school. It has been a good 4 years since we last left secondary school and we are still keeping in contact with each other.

Strangely enough, all these time, we have never taken a picture together. Finally we did, but this photo has “weird” written all over my face no thanks to the limited hours of sleep I have had these past few days.
