Bachelor of Computer Science
After some patient waiting, I have been officially offered a place in the Bachelor of Computer Science degree program. Though I spent one month going through the preparatory course, for a place, it was well worth it.

I have till the 20th September 2008 to send in my completed acceptance slip.
Depending on the pace I wish to set myself on, the degree will require between 1.5 to 2 years to complete. Once the pre-requisites to certain subjects are met, I have the option of taking more than 1 per term.
Classes are scheduled into 2 intensive teaching blocks per term:
- Friday: 1900hrs - 2200hrs
- Saturday: 1300hrs - 2000hrs
- Sunday: 0900hrs - 1700hrs
My friends are envious that I need only attend classes thrice in a month. But what they do not know is that it is a study schedule which I am not familiar with and may need some time adapting to. What was meant to be taught over a period of 1 month is cramped into just 3 days.
Good discipline is a huge must. In an intensive study block, a huge load of information is taught and grasping it would be difficult. However I am relishing the opportunity to experience this new study opportunity. I thrive on challenges, it is through them that I can better myself on a personal and academic level.
I do not want to stop at just a bachelor’s degree. I want to be able to go to the University of Adelaide in Australia to study for an honors degree.
That is a long shot away, at least for another 2 years. For now I just want to concentrate on doing my very best, 1 subject at a time.

Congratulations! And in time, I am sure you’ll get to the University of Adelaide
congrats! and jia you (:
