A possible California Fitness membership
I was on my way to getting an urgent work-related errand done. As I was passing through Novena Square, I was approached by this gorgeously cute girl. Blame me on being a sucker for bangs. Instead of just chucking her aside like how some inconsiderate Singaporeans in a rush do, I decided to at least hear her out.
Her: Hi! I’m from California Fitness. (In the most joyful of tones)
Me: Urm (sounding very reluctantly), I’m sorry I am rushing for time
Her: Owww …
Me: (Took a last glance at her for the last time before moving on)
I do not know how she got the idea that this 可愛的小弟 would be able to splurge lavishly on fitness gyms. I guess I have the “I head to the gym” message written all over me. Without any hints, a friend of mine was able to guess that I am a regular gym hitter. If I wasn’t rushing an errand, I would have gladly listen to what she has to say.
The possibility of joining California Fitness as a member will only appeal to me when my 3 digit monthly NS allowance gets healthier. I might frequent a gym often but that does not put me on level terms with a professional fitness trainer, I am still foreign to countless muscular groups as well as how to effectively train them. At gyms, I always seek advice and learn from the more savvy ones.
A personal trainer does sound good, one who will be able to guide me and ensure that I am training the muscle groups I want. Of course a fitness gym is more than just working on your muscle groups, I am clueless about what programs are on offer and they can be fun too.
Nothing a short chat with the California Fitness girl can’t answer.

CHEY! I thought that from the title and excerpt that you would have at least chat with her for 5-10 mins!
I would if I did not have any errands to run! Grrr …
try not to go for the personal trainers unless you have a specific purpose la. one of the key advantages of joining a mega-gyms are their classes, which are free.
